Anyone who reads this site knows I am a Phantasy Star purist, meaning I don't really care for any of the newer games in the series. I was all set to grumble and shake my cane at this one too, but after seeing this trailer (packaged with the latest issue of Famitsu) I have to admit I am considering giving this one a whirl.

The character design and fighting actually look kind of ... interesting. As long as I'm not busy clouding my brain with visions of the old character designs, that is. I think I'm going to perk up for once and give it a chance, plus I really like the music. Are you passing on this one, or feeling a little intrigued?

I liked the look of PSO much better. I never played it, but my friend did. I'd get this to play with him, but not if they pull any PSU crap again. A story? What the fuck do I need a story for? Just let me make my character, and then send me on my way to play online.

Call me up when its a real Phantasy Star again. Until then, DON'T CARE.

Why is this bs even calling Phantasy Star anyway?

Zero? Does this mean it's not a crappy multiplayer game?

Well, it is really hard to find RPGs on the DS, whereas Wi-Fi-enabled multiplayer RPG hack-and-slashes are a dime a dozen on the system.

Wait, I got that backwards. Anyway, I liked PSO. Count me in.

@Dan

Wait, what was that last part? Why shouldn't the Wii get Phantasy Star?

Great Odin's Raven! They really did bring back Mags! I had a Phantasy Star pants-tent already, but this is serious.

Get your anime out of my Phantasy Star.

It looks too much like PSU and not enough like PSO. Unless it's really good, I'll stick with Blue Burst thanks.
