New PAX mission: Obtain a creepy Dishonored mask photo

I'm not sure what it is with Dishonored and masks, but I like the trend and potential for awesome cosplay. These paper masks (via Super Punch) for the game are simultaneously funny and downright terrifying.

While Bethesda will have DOOM 3: BFG Edition and Dishonored playable at PAX, in addition to community events for the latter, all I care about now are these ridiculous things.

My goal is to get the one with the lips for Jim to use in future videos. It's the kind of thing you would hide in someone's house -- either taped to the underside of a toilet seat, or placed in a cabinet -- and then feel really terrible knowing that you will be directly responsible for scaring them to death.

We can't see the new Doom yet, but it sounds like a return to form

Bethesda said its big reveal of Doom -- that is in fact "Doom," not "Doom 4" -- at QuakeCon would be for attendees only, not for us Internet ne'er-do-wells, but I still watched the QuakeCon stream like a sucker, anyway. When ...more
