New patch improves PlayStation Store pitfalls

New patch improves PlayStation Store pitfalls photo

I'm not a fan of the new PlayStation Store. There, I said it. It looks cheap, and the right side is far too busy. Then again, I'm not a fan of the 3DS eShop or Xbox Live either, and I think everything should just copy Steam. But I digress.

The new PlayStation Store design has been fairly divisive, and a large reason why is due to the loading times and frequent error message prompts. Evidently those issues have been addressed in a new patch however, as version 1.02 of the PlayStation Store is now a thing starting today.

Thankfully, an online version of the store is also coming soon. I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to redeem contest codes while on the go, but couldn't.

Unreal Tournament 3 and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. saved from GameSpy shutdown

I've found it really encouraging that developers are willing to make their multiplayer games playable after the shutdown of GameSpy. There was quite a list of games that were going to be going offline but after some big names...more

Halo: CE multiplayer will live on through official patch from Bungie

A little over a month ago GameSpy Technology announced they were shutting down on May 31, and their server hosting along with them. Various games have found solutions with different levels of official support, but some titles...more
