Infinity Ward has pumped out another patch for the PC version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Before you can install the patch though, you'll need to make sure you already have v1.4 downloaded.
Also, the two patches aren't compatible with one another, so you won't be able to see servers running with the older v1.4 patch if you've got v1.5 (the newest one) instead.
You're probably wondering what's included in the patch, right? There's nothing too major, really:
• Fixed server browser not showing all of the servers
• The "hold [ ] to steady" sniper scope hint will only appear if you can use it
• Fixed game not recognizing IWDs existing if they are all in fs_basepath and none are in the main/ folder
• Made mod scripts able to change stats
• Allow developer_script for mulitiplayer modding
• Fixed map rotation errors with usermaps
• Fix for reloading several times after connecting to a modded server
• Fixed minimap not showing up in the menu for usermaps
• Fixed an issue with Http redirect downloads.
• Mod tools will now work with other languages
This patch is nice and all, but where's the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 support? We need some love too!

Infinity Ward's core audience is people play CoD4 on PS3? Doubt it.
And don't feel too fucked over. Since 1.4 I haven't been able to use the in game browser to find servers (PC), and if this fixes it great, now I just need to wait for enough servers to update. In the mean time, hooray for Xfire :P
I don't understand. How have they fucked the PC users over by offering them a patch?
I also agree with Copulatingduck, this patch is mostly directed towards mods, the rest of the fixes are too minor to care.
