New Papo & Yo trailer hits the web

9:40 AM on 03.08.2012

Not to be confused with Pocky and Rocky, a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming puzzle platformer Papo & Yo has just graced our presence, compliments of GDC. If you're not familiar with the project, it looks like a mix between Banjo Kazooie (complete with a backpack hover companion!) and Ico. Development is being handled by the studio Minority, and it's their first project.

Right now, while the trailer looks excellent for a PSN game, it's still a little rough around the edges, and could use some polish before release. Papo and Yo is scheduled to release sometime in 2012 for the Playstation 3, over the PSN.

Review: Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal

While Sonic Boom on the Wii U has its issues, there are also some redeeming qualities. Co-op is enjoyable, the platforming is pretty fun, and the 2D sections aren't bad. With a few more months in the oven and more polish, it could have ultimately been a decent Sonic title. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for the 3DS version of Sonic Boom. There's almost nothing redeeming about it.more
