Here's some news. Ready? Capcom will soon be announcing a new and original 2D fighter. That's it. That's all of the information we have. This has been confirmed over at a fiery teaser Web site, found over at Capcom's official Japanese page.
The page simply says, amidst flames:
The first original Capcom fighting game in 3 years finally makes its debut.
When? Where? What? Oh dear, the anticipation burns. It's likely an arcade game, and it's likely we'll be hearing more about it shortly. Keep your pants on and speculate away.

Anyway, after Capcom Figthing Jam, my expectations are pretty low. Sammy vs Capcom was suppose to come out years ago and never did. Maybe that's what this is. If so, I will buy this game on day one.

As far as I know a bunch of interns built that sucker not CAPCOM.
I simultanious pee'd, shat and came in my pants. I wonder how they're going to do it, their last good original not VS game (SFII) was amazing. If this is I'm the level of that, I SHALL BE VERY PLEASED.
And please god, let it be 2D like the URL leads me to believe.
