Could Okamiden be the world's cutest DS game? All signs point to yes, with Chibiterasu being so insanely adorable that I reckon even Osama Bin Laden would get all cuddly and start respecting women. The game's looking hot and here's a new trailer to prove it.

Thank you Capcom for showing us more of what the DS is actually capable of.
purchase on launch day (and if they have that sweet preorder deliciousness for the US too yum.) without a doubt.
But it takes a certain kind of douche to wish failure on an Okami game.
please do it.
I hope it sells well so we get a 3DS sequel or something.
But DAMN. Okami keeps getting screwed over by emerging technology.
PS2 came out when Wii was beginning, and felt like it'd be so much better on Wii. So the team that made it went -poof!- and then years later a different team made the Wii version happen.
Okamiden is coming out on DS right before 3DS hits and damn if I can't help but wish, again, that it were just a little bit earlier or later.
If it comes out on both (and ends up being a really good game again), I'll support both versions again.

This is my favouritest comment ever.
Piggybacking on Chibiterasu and a few additions is cool, but I'd like to have seen a bit more innovation. I'm kinda hoping that they'll eventually port the original Okami to the PSP. That way both portable consoles get some love. Again, not bashing the game. It looks quite fun, but it does look like a SD port of Okami with a few small additions. I do hope it does well... I'd like to see a full fledged sequel on a home console.
