Damn this game is cute. I know that's been said endlessly about Capcom's new Okami title for the DS, but I haven't said it yet, so I'm saying it now. It's f*cking cute. Look at the yappy little puppy, doin' stuff.
Anyway, here's a new gameplay trailer for Okamiden, which gives us a look at some more of the game's environments and brush mechanics. The music alone is enough to make you tingle if you loved the first one as much as I did, and this isn't looking half bad for a DS title.
You can see how you'll be using brushstrokes to not only cut through obstacles and restore life to the world like before, but also to lead the little dude riding on your back to wherever you need him to go. From the looks of things, this is shaping up to be a reasonably worthwhile sequel, and I'm excited for it already. Hopefully it won't be long before the game ... AWWWW LOOKIT THE PUPPY.

Now my only concern left is the controls. The DS isn't the best at 3D action game controls, but if they're handled in a decent way, this game could be crazy fun.
