Midway has just sent us a fresh batch of hot and steamy Mortal Kombat Armageddon screenshots for the Wii. And, of course, these screenshots include a little hand action to demonstrate how you or your little brother or sister would play the game. Look at the pictures. Aren't they pretty?

Those are the crispest graphics ever!

I love how the wii shots have to have Wii motes to show how the hell you'll play the damn game.

ugh, these screenshots look terrible. The PS2 has better visuals than this. Just because the Wii isn't about being next gen in the graphics department doesn't mean the developers can just stop fucking caring about it. They still need to make good looking games with what the Wii has to offer. This looks like Midway isn't even trying.

The game sucked on PS2. Adding motion isn't going to make it suck any less. Infact, it'll most likely do the opposite.

The graphics don't look that bad. Not the best we've seen on the Wii but they're not shitty either.

And besides, after seeing the video demo of how this game is played, I've got to play this game at least once.

As someone who had been out of the MK loop since MKII, it was nice to revisit it on the PS2 w/ Armageddon. And while the PS2 does look crisper, I think the wiimote will be fun. Assuming it works.

It wouldn't be a Wii screenshot without some spastic overlay of someone holding the remote. I look forward to the trailer which cuts between the game and some assholes waving their arms around on a couch.

How deprived am I as a Wii owner that I actually care about this game?

I should just used the 249.99 on a blowtorch that I could take to my face.

If this game is as fun as the DBZ game, fighting games on the Wii may actually interest me

Well played, Rock. Well played indeed.

This is going to be one of those games where the small girl flailing wildly beats the veteran gamer. Is that supposed to be its appeal?

I dunno, the DBZ Game was done really, really well on the Wii.

The graphics don't bother me. The fact that it's a Mortal Kombat game does. Do people still buy these games? MK hasn't been relevant for me in like ten years.

The DBZ game was done surprisingly on the Wii. I'm seriously considering buying this game for the Wii.
