Electronic Arts and DICE have released a new animated trailer for Mirror's Edge, one which delves into the game's backstory. Totalitarian governments, riots, someone dies. You know -- the usual.

If this has you excited, you might want to considering picking up the limited-edition Mirror's Edge Runner's Bag bundle. It comes with an exclusive Mirror's Edge bag from San Francisco-based messenger bag designers Timbuk2, and a copy of the game. It'll only cost you $129.95.

Mirror's Edge ships on November 12 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. PC gamers will have to wait until "late winter." Sounds chilly.

That is a great trailer. The story in the game looks really good.

I don't think I will be picking up the bundle though...

Greedy bastards.

I'm opting for the free messenger bag that comes with the pre-order from Gamestop. Free is good.

@Nick,

Yes siree Bob... and it is a good price (for the UK anyway).

Fenchurch T's are normally about £25-30 I believe. I mean, they have a shop in Covent Garden for crying out loud!

1) It's Timbuk2

2) They're damn fine bags. The face is inside the bag is pretty stupid, but the outside is pretty hot. They normally go for 100 bucks, so if you need a decent bag that will last (e.g. not the gamestop POS) and don't mind seeing an angry woman every time you open it, it's a deal.

Also, Starfox.

So...$70 for a bag? No thanks. I'll stick with the standard, bagless version.

@alceste

Yeah, that GTA bag was terrible. A month after I got it the second zipper wouldn't close the damn thing anymore. I like the lockbox, though. It's useful for keeping my portables.

I don't understand why anyone would buy that kind of thing for a new IP. I understand Halo3's Gears2's, and GTA4's, but not a new IP.

I may consider getting the limited edition, if I can manage to remove or cover that face on the inside. Definitely picking up the game though.

It's a great bag, worth more than $100, but I'm in no need of a bag, plus there's a giant picture of Faith on the inside that seems more like marketing than design, so I'll stick with the preorder bonus yellow bag, if anything.

i just checked Timbuk2's site and a custom bag of that size is atleast 90$. so it sounds about right

@ brainderailment

Yes, but if the bag's quality is as marketed, I'd rather have a new IP's awesome bag than an old IP's crap-in-a-box. Or something to that effect.

Great trailer, but it says Nov 13th not November 11th does that mean I have to wait two days longer?

Is it just me or does the GameStop pre-order bag actually look less bad than this over-priced one? And that thing is BRIGHT YELLOW!
