Some people are claiming to have the Mega Man 10 issue of Nintendo Power. I think they're telling the truth. Either the image above is an extremely well crafted fake, or that's something from the magazine.
That "something" is Commando Man. He joins Sheep Man as Mega Man 10's other currently announced boss. What do you think so far? Personally, I'm on the fence. His "art" looks pretty unoriginal, like a cross between Search Man and Napalm Man, but his in-game sprite might look much cooler. The article says he'll fight with homing attacks, a stunning ground-pound, and an attack that has a "large area of impact". Could be a lot of fun, or it could be boring and predictable. Either way, I can't wait to find out.
More definitively happy news includes the games tentative release month (March 2010), and the return of DLC, leader boards, and the in-game shop. There's also stuff about the game's stages; there will be a sewer stage (complete with slug-like mets), an ice stage (complete with ice), a sports-themed stage (with a soccer-goal mid-boss), and a sandstorm-stricken desert stage.
Other tidbits include the return of the Yashichi from Mega Man 1, a sore lack of female bosses, and the non-DLC inclusion two selectable difficulty levels right from the start.

I'm glad they're doing the in-game achievement things again. I got so much extra playtime going for those things in MM9, especially since for some you had to approach the game in completely unique ways, like beating the game without killing any enemies, or without ever missing a buster shot.
Commando Man, that is not a very good Commando name! Now go sit in the corner with Firebert so you two can try to think up better Commando names.
When I saw him, I was thinking "Tank Man", or "Artillery Man", or even "F*CKS-U-UP-MILLITARY-STYLE Man". But he looks O.K.
Sheep Man is still the supreme badass of the new Robot Masters though!
"Could be a lot of fun, or it could be boring and predictable."
Is it bad that I read this line a lot like the Travis' opening monologue in No More Heroes?
"Who knows? Could kick ass. Could be dangerous. Could totally suck."
I still think the best boss would be Gentle Man. Essentialy just a robot wearing a top hat and uses a cane to attack. Hell, Capcom made Ducktales, they could just use the Scrooge McDuck animation and just replace the sprite with something new, and there you go!
Honestly, my first thought was "Super Gutsman." This game seems to have run out of ideas, but I'm hopeful. Mega Man 9 was pure awesome, so there is no way this can't be.
Some games coming out in March 2010:
APB
Battlefield Bad Company 2
Battlefield 1943 PC
FF XIII
Assassins Creed 2 PC
Just Cause 2
Crysis 2
Monster Hunter Tri
Muscle March (Not that big a release, but it just looks so awesome)
Yakuza 3
God of War 3
I thought it was called freeballing when a man did it. So his name should technically be "Freeballin' Man." I think his design is pretty badass though. It follows in the tradition of bulky, manly bosses like Guts Man, Stone Man, Hard Man and Concrete Man. Inafune even through in some heavy weapons for good measure.
Looks like he'll be a good boss to take down first. Probably awfully slow. His weapon should be fun though.
I'm crossing my fingers for a Pig Man and Bull Man to go with Sheep Man, though.
Also, there needs to be a Man Man boss. His level would feature exploding beer kegs, well-endowed women jumping on tramplolines, and robots that are doubling down.
Very tempted to do a terrible drawing of Mega Man wearing a chainmail vest and a pipe through his chest, with someone off-screen saying "Let off some steam, Bennett!" while a cute Alyssa Milano-bot stands by in horror, but it would take too long.
If someone else does it, I'll send you cookies.
It would also be good in Mega Man was whispering to himself "What is this I don't even" but I guess that's optional.
At this point, I can't be dissappointed by a robot master. Repeats happen (see: fire elementals) and each design has its own unique thing going on. Commando man looks appropriately badass.
Sheep Man = Elec Man?
Commando Man = Guts Man?
Ice stage in MM10 -> ice boss = Ice Man?
I am not sure if there are reasonable matches for the sports-themed and computer-themed stages, though. Perhaps those are explicitly for the completely new bosses while the other six are references to the past.
Sweet!
This game is conjuring up all sorts of awesome Mega Man memories! I remember, upon hearing of a new Mega Man game, I couldn't wait to see what impending Robot Masters Capcom would unleash next! I'm feeling this with Mega Man 10! Can't wait!
I didn't have a chance to say it before, but OMGSOEXCITE! The lack of a female Robot Master kinda lets me down, as I was hoping they'd become a "normal" thing after Splash Woman. But Sheep Man is interesting enough, and the Slug-Mets sound awesome. Seems 10 is shaping up to be another classic!
Considering the announcement of this game, it makes it even more embarassing that I have yet to defeat ANY boss in MM9 other than Galaxy Man. Now I have till March to finish it all. *sigh*

But, we'll see.
Also: Fuck yes best March ever.
What the Hell?
Fashion?
Also, sewer stage? Bring it on: I fucking LOVED Toad Man's level.
...
Okay, so I was a little slow on that one.
Also, March is going to be about 15 flavors of crazy with a big side dish of expensive.
When I saw him, I was thinking "Tank Man", or "Artillery Man", or even "F*CKS-U-UP-MILLITARY-STYLE Man". But he looks O.K.

No Female Boss=Transvestite Man confirmed?!

Seriously, what the fuck.
OMG. Please let this be true.
Commando Man looks rather generic. He's like the obligatory big man of the game.
Also Missing: Announcement of Megaman Legends 3.
Looks like he'll be a good boss to take down first. Probably awfully slow. His weapon should be fun though.

@ TheCleaningGuy- Best compliment EVAR!
So far, this is lookin' awesome! We have Sheep Man, who's so silly he's badass, and we have Commando Man, who's so awesome, he's badass.

Ever heard of Magic Man (from 'Megaman & Bass')? He doesn't use his cane though:
As for Megaman 10, I can't wait for new updates! I've been googling everyday since the announcement!

You, sir, are a deprived soul. I pity you, and suggest you begin to seek out copies of the holy playable texts.
There's a damn good reason that the only tattoo I posess is an 8-bit Megaman 1-Up head - the guy is as famous as Mario among actual gamers.
Really?!
What Everyday said. Classic stuff, imo.
Find Mega Man 2 and try that out. Tell us what you think!
Wow.... I just got it too. Dang...
Or was the secret a future announcement of this game?
