This not only looks interesting, but also sounds good, which is what I always appreciated about Frostbite-based FPSes as of late.

I liked the first one. It was much more like Call of Duty 2 than Call of Duty 4, and it was nice to play a military shooter with a little bit of class.
This, though, looks like ass. I was hoping that they would shy away from the garbage Michael Bay development style, but it seems like decent sales got EA thinking it better broaden up that market a bit.
Very disappointed.

The mission in the Philippines doesn't look as exciting as they sold it to me months ago. I was told that the mission was DURING A HURRICANE AMIDST RAGING FLOOD WATERS. I see knee high flood but no typhoon.
Looks like the action of Call of Duty mixed with the tone of Battlefield. If the campaign is good, I'm sold. People hate on it all the time, but I loved the Modern Warfare and Black Ops campaigns. DICE can't make a good FPS campaign to save their lives (BF3 included), so maybe MOH can take up that mantle.

Yeah. But no. I find all FPS to be highly resistible. And particularly modern-war FPS. I mean, we just blew a decade, 2 trillion dollars and 6,000-odd of our soldiers' lives trying to turn this from being a game into being a national policy.
And as far as this trailer goes? Well, let's just say I'm sure there's a special place in hell for the inventor of shakycam. And there's a place right next to THAT for whoever thought shakycam should be used in everything--that it should become the high fructose corn syrup of cinema the way it has.
