Story, rythm and characters make something noir. Being or not being in a dark NY alley doesn't mean something is or is not noir. Remember Chinatown movie?Looks a lot like MP3 don't you think? We should all wait to play the game before making such judgements. There's more to the noir atmosphere than detective hats and a black and white image.

I really wonder why Rockstar hasn't bothered to do an HD Collection for any of their games. They've really missed the boat on that. Collections for Max Payne and GTA would sell well relative to the minimal costs involved, and they'll get people into the series. I've never played a Max Payne game, and that's part of the reason why I'm hesitant to drop $60 on one title I might not even like (and won't know anything about).

Just go mod the PC versions, same difference. Cheap as chips. My 2004 laptop without a graphics card could max out Max Payne 2 in all it's tremendous slow motion glory so I doubt your PC, that your posting from now, would have any trouble unless it's a 90's machine :P
