Being shown MadWorld at this year's E3 was like some sort of moment where time freezes and you can't believe what's happening is actually happening. While a polite group of people from Platinum Games showed Dale North and myself the blood festival that is MadWorld, all we could seem to do was shake our heads in a kind of confused delight.
This newest trailer came on a disc packed with the latest issue of Famitsu, which would have been very difficult to get one's hands on outside of Japan. Luckily we spied it on Gamekyo, and now it's all yours to do with as you will (which likely includes fapping).
As a horror/gore enthusiast, I could not be more eager to see this title come to the Wii, a system that's been far too vanilla for this gamer, outside of No More Heroes. Spray it in blood, Platinum Games!
As long as this doesn't turn into a huge waggle fest, I proclaim "DO WANT".
Also, I think the AI looked kinda dumb...one guy was getting his ass kicked and the other just calmly walks out of the way of where his friend was getting snapped in two like a twig or Nichole Richie
I agree with that, and the Conduit is a good start too. I'm glad some companies are making more mature games for us core gamers, even if Nintendo has completely lost it. Chainsaw dueling is nothing except pure awesome in my book.
I think Nintendo taking this year off has allowed third parties to breath a bit. 07 Nintendo brought so much to the table and this year, they released less, more casual games. May have inspired third parties to fill the void. I think next year the Wii will finally mature into the console we had all hoped it would be- game wise.
So ya, this, the conduit, fragile, House of the Dead, that SotC inspired game, Chop till you drop, etc It's looking a lot better in terms of third parties, and Nintendo's offerings should be promising with Icarus or whatever making a comeback, inevitable Zelda announcement, it's getting much better.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

Actually, this is exactly the kind of exclusive the Wii needs, so I say more power to it.

I'm in.
