doesn't look very good for a vita game, could just as well have made it for 3ds, actually they still can.

I never had enough interest in the first one to play it, and while that hasn't really changed, between the amount of love the original got and the fact that my Vita is begging for an excuse to have me fire it up, I do believe that this one will be a buy. A potentially highly regrettable buy, but a buy nonetheless.
It's neither a rpg, not a strategy game. Think open world Pikmin with more units. You also have your own castle which is essentially an expanding hub world you can upgrade for cash. For anyone who wants to check this game out, I'd recommend getting a Wii version instead.

New Little King's Story visual style is pune, it is stale, it is muddy, and vulgar. To me, it's anything but cute. Seeing one of my favorite games of this generation being treated like this is pretty sad.

Looks awesome and I'm getting it day 1. And honestly, if you've played Gravity Rush, you should know how well touch controls can work when mixed in with traditional controls. This game is going to be hugely improved from the Wii version where you had to point at the screen (when no other motion controls were used). Now you can just tap the screen with your thumb to send troops around, and do the rest with buttons and joysticks. And I think the art style looks significantly better than the first game.
As cute of as the author of this article! ;) Yes, definitely buying this for my wife. She does not want her own Vita, but when she heard about this, she said she wants a Vita just for this game. Yay!

Oh boy, yet more EggmaniMN dismissive garbage completely missing the point of what the game actually is and instead ranting about what he wants it to be and since it doesn't cater to his baby tastes, he has to ruin it for everyone. It's basically jumping to conclusions over some screenshots and giving absolutely zero thought as to why something is the way it is.
Or, and here's the real shocker, games like this don't actually look "bad" at all and people just need to get some perspective on what's "good" or "bad." If you think New Little King's Story looks that "terrible" then you probably can't even play 10 minutes on a PSP without throwing up, which is complete bullshit.

IDK, Rangnarok Odyssey is coming out for the vita next month, so ill be focused on that precious gem ;)
Based on half the comments, I'd say gaming has been overtaken by self absorbed and uncreative shitty 12 year olds that only know what to like by what their friends play.

I hate that they replaced it with this dead behind the eyes anime look. There was nothing wrong with the original art style.

The pointer was never used for the first game.
Anyways, if you missed this on the Wii and have a Vita you should try this game. It was one of those games like Xenoblade or Fallout where you have so much to explore and many missions to do.

Huh. I guess I don't hang out checking out Otaku JRPG shit enough to even know what that is or looks like. I just think the game looks fine. Shrug. To each his own I reckon.
