New Little King's Story getting DLC, season pass photo

It seems like an odd game to get a season pass and a bunch of downloadable content, but New Little King's Story is getting the royal treatment in the extras department.

Konami today announced that the PS Vita game will be getting one new bit of DLC a week for the next two months, prices ranging from $0.99 to $2.99. If you anticipate being enthralled by everything the game has to offer, however, you can hand over $19.99 up-front for guaranteed access to all the goods.

With the game already $39.99 digitally, the added $19.99 seems crazy for an under-promoted PS Vita game. Still, we've talked at length about Konami's weird behavior already and don't need to go back there ... not today, anyway.

Our review of the game will come at some point or other. Promise!

Review: New Little King's Story

As the iconic Mel Brooks once said: "It's good to be the king!" Well, sorta. You might get all the power, all the gold, and all the women, but you have to deal with, you know, problems and stuff too. If I had a motto for New Little King's Story, it would be, "It's mostly good to be the king...mostly."more

Find out why New Little King's Story isn't on the Wii

I loved Little King's Story on the Wii, if only for the fact that it abandoned useless waggle in favor of a streamlined, simple control system. It seems as if a lot of other people did too, but that raw excitement isn't ...more

New Little King's Story screens are full of cuteness

New screenshots have been released for Konami's New Little King's Story, which is scheduled to come out later this summer. For those of you who can't be at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, here are some adorable pictures of the little king being cute. I don't have a Vita yet, but this is just one more reason why I should buy one. Is anyone else looking forward to this new title?more

Review: Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair

Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc was an intelligent riff on the perils of high school -- you know, if you had thrown a murder mystery in between classes and the principal was a maniacal stuffed animal. Its sequel, Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, takes a beleaguered trope and turns it on its head. This is one "trapped on a desert island" story that takes things to another level entirely.more

Sign me up for 3DS RPG Legend of Legacy

Legend of Legacy sounded pretty good on paper. Honestly, I'm easy ; they had me at '3DS RPG' already. But look at it! Look at that pop-up environmental effect! That music!  Watercolors! Shading! Big heads! The games' &n...more

Dio in Skyrim: Part 3 - Don't "Taco" To Strangers

In the third part of our ongoing investigative series on what it would be like if heavy metal pioneer Ronnie James Dio was, in fact, a mage in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. In this installment, we forget more lyrics, and Max's girlfriend gets home from work, only to find a very special surprise waiting for her. Is it tacos? (Yes. That's exactly what it is.)more
