New Left 4 Dead TV spot has zombies in it

As we explained when we showed the last Left 4 Dead TV spot, Valve barely needs to do anything for this game to sell, since a co-op zombie FPS is a title that should practically sell itself. That said, it's fantastic to see Valve running TV commercials and having some real marketing weight behind its game.

Nick remarked to some of us yesterday about the big L4D billboards he was seeing, and how you never see that kind of high profile campaigning from Valve. Hopefully it pays off, because if any developer in this industry deserves a real spotlight, it's these guys.

I'm surprised no one is complaining about the rendered clip instead of footage. When EA does that everyone goes ballistic.

WTF? These are all rendered clips. It's bullshit! I want to see some real gameplay footage.

Meh, it's all the same footage from the first one, minus the lulz and plus crappy music.

Wedge, that's what a TV ad IS.

It has to be short, have music, and not be awesome.

Of course, they could just knock out all the actual footage, it'd sell on the fact it's a freaking multiplayer zombie apocalypse shooter.

I too have seen the Left 4 Dead billboards, right alongside LittleBigPlanet billboards.
