Please, God, let there be someone else who finds that caption funny. I'd hate to be alone in this world.
Sony released a new trailer for inFAMOUS today and it's pretty damn cool. This video is focused on how you'll travel throughout Empire City, be it across the rooftops, on power lines or using the elevated train. It also shows a little bit of combat but it's really only in service to the main goal of depicting the game's environments. Check it out after the jump.
I had a chance to play inFAMOUS last week, and I'm pretty interested in the title based on what I've seen. I haven't laid down money on a pre-order just yet, but I'm seriously considering it, because running across the environments is just super-fun.
Rather than waste your time with my incoherent ramblings, I'll just recommend that you read Samit's preview. And check out the gallery for some "electrifying" new screenshots. Har har har.

For someone who is fully charged he really does take his time with his jumps. But still it looks good! *mind rushes to compare with prototype, but fingers refuse to do it*
This game looks fantastic, I can't wait to see how it will turn out. Im hoping either this or prototype (or both) will be the sandbox game that I will actually love and buy. Im not an open world kinda person, but I hope one of these games will really get me to like the genre. Another thing which I love about this game is the fact you can climb anything. I loved watching Altire climb things, it was unlike anything I have seen in gaming before, and I think this game will have that same magic. I love that idea.
My inner/outer/pretty much all of me that's a comic book nerd can't wait to get his hands on this game.
As awesome as Prototype looks, I think I like this more. Being tiny meatgod Alex Mercer will be fun, but "a guy with superpowers" Cole McGrath is striking the same chord as Spider-Man.
I am interested, I still say it looks like force unleashed crossed with gta, but I liked both of those, so I'll bite
@ Jackel2072 btw: it's recession not resestion and I feel you being in the laid off unemployed pool
It is nice to see the way this and Prototype are differentiating them selves. At first I was thinking PT looked like the one to buy, but now I am thinking I may have just lost another $120. Yet another receipt to hide from the Mrs.
I feel I may be beginning to favor this over Prototype. I like the idea of the super powers being more subtle. Also, the city looks to give off a more "lived in" feeling.
What's for certain is that they will give different experiences, which is good.
Sucker Punch is really doing a spot-on job with making this look great. I really wish Prototype wasn't coming so soon after inFamous since I have been doing nothing but comparing the two, and I've been hating every moment I've done that.

Damn it.

Prototype is looking a lot more entertaining and longer lasting.
