It's going to be a big month of releases for Nintendo next month. Out of all the games, Super Mario Galaxy is going to be their biggest. Of course, I don't need to state the obvious, it's a Mario game after all. For everyone that has been following the game, you've no doubt seen the trailer that made Chad's pants explode with video goodness of the new power suits in action. Nintendo released some new screens showing off all of the suits in beautiful glory which you can check out in the gallery. Galaxy to me looks like it's going back to the roots of the series. The last great Mario game I think was Super Mario World (platform wise -- greatest Mario game ever is Mario RPG) and everything I've seen and watched just reminds me of Super Mario World. Super Mario Galaxy will be out on November 12th -- the same day I suspect a portion of the staff will be calling in sick ...

I want this game so badly. There is no way this can be as easy and short as New Super Mario Bros. or Super Paper Mario. If it is, I'll never be able to buy another Mario platformer without crying. As soon as I saw the Bee Suit and Boo Suit and just fucking suits I couldn't stop drooling or screaming Bee Suit whenever someone talked to me. I got scared looks at school until I finally snapped out of it.
Mentioning Mario RPG makes me feel funny where my bathing suit covers.

Forgot about Brawl, and the new Kart (whenever that is).
But really, I just don't like my Wii. Every game so far has let me down in some way or another. I'm going back to a monogamous relationship with my 360. Also, that's not the Xbox fanboy in me speaking, I've just been really unimpressed and don't feel like sinking anymore money into it.
Just wanted to say that I agree 100% that Super Mario World was the last great Mario game. Yes, even better than the beloved Super Mario Bros. 3.

Mario 64! that was one of the greatest 3D games ever. I dug it way more than Super Mario World. So much so that it has been purchased on VC and Mario World hasn't.
