The poster boy of the
Aegia PhysX PPU,
CellFactor Revolution is looking gorgeous in these 1600x1200 images of what a gamer with a steroidal computer might see running a smooth 60 FPS. Hit the screenshots below for a closeup and grab the 250mb high res video at the bottom of
this page. These are night and day compared to
the earlier ones they released.
For the rest of us with no such hardware, the game
appears to be a little of on the wimpy side, matching what you're already enjoying on Steam/Source. Nevertheless, if you're going to get the equipment the game appears to be worth the experience -- however you run the risk of having idle hardware that few other games support. It is a tempting upgrade to
HL2's gravity gun ... depending on weekend boredoms, I may just have to break down and respond to a sniper's gunfire by with a 3000 pound water tower spit ball. [Thanks pspplayer1001]
