New Halo Legends and Red vs. Blue episodes coming photo

Microsoft has announced that a new Halo Legends episode, titled Origins, and a holiday special of Red vs. Blue are coming to Halo Waypoint and Xbox Live very soon. The new episodes shall be running in the new year, and will surely be a must-watch for all Halo fans. 

"In Origins, fans of Halo lore will witness Forerunner battles with the Flood, through the present day ending of the Halo trilogy," states MS. "The episode will shed light on some of the main events of the Halo universe, which set the stage for the beloved series of Halo games."

Origins will be available for a mere 24 hours on January 2, while Red vs. Blue will available from January 9. You can hit the jump for more details on all the Halo-themed chicanery you've got coming your way.

Relive epic moments from the “Halo” franchise in the final preview episode of the anime saga, “Halo Legends.” Created by Studio 4oC, part one of “Origins” will be available exclusively on Halo Waypoint for only 24 hours on Saturday, Jan. 2. 343 Industries invites you to celebrate the holidays with the galaxy’s dumbest recruits!  Visit Halo Waypoint on Dec. 24 – Dec. 26 for an exclusive, all-new three-part “Red vs. Blue” holiday special. “Red vs. Blue” is a video series created by Rooster Teeth Productions, loosely based on the “Halo” franchise.

all this halo waypoint stuff. I think ill just wait til it comes out on blu-ray. although Im not sure if theres any difference from animation on blu-ray then animation on dvd.

Yeah, thank GOD they didn't take the option that would have allowed them more freedom with what they do and say without relying on the constraints of a game and make themselves one step closer to making entertainment that doesn't completely rely on Microsoft's support for them to make money.
