Coincidentally, right under that article at computerandvideogames.com is the trailer for Empire Earth III where a woman runs through the woods and changes armor over the different time periods (and of course gets more scantily clad as it gets closer to the future). Empire Earth III sucks gorilla balls, too.

This game should be a straight up 4 player co-op over the internet (or locally) hack 'n slash wonder fuck extravaganza with splashes of Diablo and Baldur's Gate and of course Golden Axe all mashed up and spat out for us all to devour like the food from a mama bird to her kiddies.
Or they could just rape Lair, which is awful since Lair WAS rape (but in blurayz!).

Why couldn't they just do a co-op version of Ninja Gaiden in the Golden Axe world with beautiful graphics? I'm not a fan of God of Wars real time cut scenes that pretend to be gameplay, I want something substantial, and memories of Golden Axe tell me it's supposed to kick my ass eight ways from Thor's Day.
Seriously, when studios can't even best an 18 year old game, the games industry needs a fucking wake up call. It's Golden Axe, how the crap do you fuck that up? wow, it sounds like they are about to ruin another sequel. one of these days the gaming 3.0 generation will be in full affect and homebrew programmers will be listening to the people and will be making the games that people want to play.
