Jubeat is a brand new bemani game has recently undergone location testing and was announced for Japan. The game is described as a 4x4 grid of squares located at arm height, with two speakers on each side and a subwoofer at the cabinet's base. It's been suggested that you will press the square panels when they light up -- so it's basically Dance Dance Revolution for people more used to using their hands than their feet. Konami has set up a site for the game, but by now it should become apparent that the only reason I even posted this news was so I could use that headline picture. I'm actually disappointed that the game goal isn't to give out a thrashing to das Juden in time to music. That'd sell like hotcakes to the Passion crowd.
