What the folk? New game content already? Sony's on the ball with this one.

The PlayStation Blog brings us news from Eric Fong, Associate Producer for the PS3 title Folklore. Fong says that this month we'll see two new add-on packs for Folklore on the PlayStation Network, and both will include a new costume for either Ellen or Keats, a new Folk, and 4 additional quests that extend on the game's story.

There isn't a release date on these downloadable packs yet, but each will be priced at $3.99, or they can be purchased together for $5.99.

Hit the jump for details on these add-on packs.

Add-On Pack 1: “The Kidnapped Folk”

Set during the timeframe of the original story, this is your opportunity to return to Doolin – gateway to the Netherworld – and take Ellen and Keats’ extraordinary adventure a little bit further. The quests include a mission to recapture a kidnapped Folk and an attempt to regain the trust of Brumbear’s soldiers. The pack also includes a new look for Ellen and a Folk called Maximillian who has a mean cannonball attack.

Add-On Pack 2: “”Bottom of the Sea”

Search the seabed for a mysterious item requested by Damona, get to the bottom of an accident that takes place in the Endless Corridor and complete the Wandering Thoughts mission started in “The Kidnapped Folk” Add-On. For Anime fans, Keats gets a “familiar” body suit that appears when he is in his “trancenscion” state and can face Phutcampus, a new Folk to defeat.

I'm looking forward to this. I'm still pissed off that the artbook was "limited edition" and you can't find that shit anywhere though.

Looks cool. I'm hoping to see this one on sale at some point. Play-asia has it for $50 for the asian version (has english voice and subtitles according to their website) but I'm hoping they drop the price a little more. I kinda liked the demo but it kinda got lost in the flood of games in the past few months.

Looks cool. I dug the demo for this game. Hopefully I can pick it up on the cheap after the holidays.
