Want an excuse to look at even more Final Fantasy XIII images? Try this one: "I really want to make sure its menu system is in line with my expectations." If you were wondering -- and face it, what else are you doing right now -- these screens are from the Xbox 360 version of the RPG. The PS3 screens look the almost same, and, in a perfect virtual reality world, would probably smell the around same too. Make sure to check out Dale's two articles about his positive and negative experiences if you're looking for something just a tad bit more substantive about the game.

Yes, I'm a FF fanboy. I'm ashamed to admit it, but it's true. I can't help it, I've just loved them all (sans XI).
And as much as I love my 360, PS3 will win this time. I'm really interested in the art style, and the graphics in general, and the lack of video compression on PS3 makes the decision easy. Plus, I may actually finish an RPG on the PS3.
I've never seen such a desperate attempt at derailing a console you hate because it equally matches a console you prefer.
Gamespot/1up says both versions are identical, and even IGN says the game runs crispier on Xbox 360 over PS3 in gameplay (although cutscenes are slightly in PS3's favor). Then Square releases side-by-side comparisons and they photoshopped it, because fanboys won't admit the game is beautiful on Xbox 360.
So sad and pathetic, rofl.
Seriously, look at the link. The games may run identical, but even I doubt they look as, literally, identical as they do in those screens. The PS3 and 360 versions run off of different graphics engines, that alone is cause for some minimal change.
There's not even a drop of console debate and you just have to spice it up with your own fail.
Look at the screens. They are 100 percent identical. There is no way in hell they could possibly time that shit to get the exact same screenshot. It's pretty obvious they did do a button swap.
That's what happens when your brain is fried at reading N4G/GAF/SDF fanboy comments all day. Live and you learn.
He's right actually. Those photos are known to be shopped. Peg this one on SE for dishonesty.
The game is going to be the same, no matter your platform. Even if it's not, one versions having arbitrarily crisper "grass texture 38" won't effect how I partake of the storytelling, and I doubt it will for you. Have a good reason for choosing your version, like "I prefer (blank) controller for this kind of game" or "I want to cheese-off weirdos online."
That's how I like to think about it anyway.
