I think we're at that point now where we'll just have to look at the slowly released Final Fantasy XIII screenshots and videos to hold us over until the game's release. I'm happy to do that as long as they're new and interesting to look at.
Here's something interesting: hot glasses girl. Meganekko, if you will. Jihl a PSICOM commander and she looks like a bitch. That's okay, though, as I like my girls with a little attitude. In the gallery you'll see her putting the smackdown on Sazh. Rodney King action in my Final Fantasy? What?
The rest of the screenshots gathered from Famitsu this morning are just as great. The best are the ones showing a poor enemy being attacked by Lightning riding horseback. She's riding riding the horse of Odin, one of the Final Fantasy summoned. Odin was also kind enough to lend her his best attack, Zantetsuken Lv.1. Siliconera reminds that this attack is typically a kill-all one in other Final Fantasy games.

Though, I guess if they're going to put her in an FF game, I'm glad they're staying true to her character. I can totally see her profiling a black guy then beating him with a nightstick.

1) Tubatic: Isn't Sara Jay already CGI enhanced?
2) Knowing just how truly androgenic most the characters in the FF series have become, this is a nice change of pace. But I believe its a M/F transgender. Making the whole androgyny go one step to far.
Except none of the characters in FFXIII are androgenic, the main male character Snow actually looks like a guy, I've applauded the game for this before. If you want androgenic then look at FFXIII Versus, now that game has some super girly boys.
I like my bitches tough, let's hope she is throughout the whole game.
