The headline says it all. And that is the best thing I've heard all week.
The latest issue of V-Jump has images and details on Sazh Katzroy, a two-gun wielding softie that carries a baby chocobo in his afro. No, really. Apparently he's a major character in the game, and a key player from the first stage. And not a pimp.
Images from this scan show Sazh fighting alongside main character Lightning, and the caption says that his long-range combat is a nice complement to Lightning's short- ranged attacks. Other attached images in our gallery show that he is indeed a soft-hearted person outside of battle. As our own Genki-JAM says, he looks a lot like the father from Smart Guy.
Seriously: if someone told me that an afro-sporting dude rocked a chocobo chick in his hair in Final Fantasy XIII, I would've called them a liar.

Basically, the quail is plucked, then baked into a pastry crust with the head sticking out. what people do is take the bird in their hands and bite a hole in the skull and suck out the brains. then they eat everything else.
Also brought to mind is the French practice of eating the ortolan, which is an endangered French song bird. They stick the whole thing in their mouths, bones and all, and crunch away until all that's left is the bones and bitter marrow. Then they chew until that is gone. This is performed while wearing a towel on their head.
This is what I see when I see that chocobo.
This is gonna end in one massive stereotype, I'm sure of it.
Hope the game`s good, and his character isn`t a stereotype, but, really, what are the chances of the latter? A frickin afro?? And if there`s any hint of 'motherfuckin pimp ass shit' attitude, this will be LAME. Bad ass pimp ass mo fo`s aren't to be found in FF land, as surely as chavs or salami scoffing mafiosi cliches, or whatever, aren't. NO! Or yes?
Be cool if he had a really posh English voice, and was exceedingly gay. Or would that be too forceful in the opposite direction?
He really should keep his guns in his hat, have a scene where the guy is being leered at by the villain.
Right before the villain kills Sazh the Chocobo chick accidentally fires the gun killing the villain.
The chick needs to kill something in the story, srsly.
