Damn, this game is going to be awesome. Square Enix has released a new Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings trailer that finally shows off some real gameplay for this DS title. I'm not the biggest fan of the Final Fantasy series, but this trailer is impressive. Just take a look at the number of characters battling all over the screen. The mix of retro style sprites and 3D backgrounds adds that nostalgic touch to the game as well. I could see it as the next big hit for the DS. Check it out here also.
Looks very nice, and judging by how FFIII looked on the DS, those will be in game cut scenes, I'm really amazed at what they've been able to pull off with the hardware.
As if I didn't waste enough of my life this past month with FFXII... now this awesome looking little gem comes along. At least this time I won't have to worry about bathroom breaks.
No way those are in-game cutscenes. Pre-rendered. Definitely.
The part where Vaan was hanging on with one arm while holding onto the girl with the other reminded me of the end of FFVII. I wonder if they did that on purpose, or if they only have three or four different cliched ideas for their cutscenes.
