The organizers of Game Developers Conference have just announced their newest event, GDC Next. This event is the successor to GDC Online, which has always taken place in Austin. After it's final show this October, GDC Next will take over, debuting in Los Angeles in November 2013.

See ya, Austin. Goodbye BBQ, hello convention center food.

GDC Next focuses on the smartphone and tablet world, as well as social and could-based gaming. You know, the next big thing. The App Developers Conference (ADC) is a new event dedicated to app creation and business. Both GDC Next and ADC will launch together November 5-7, 2013 at the LA Convention Center.

Attendees will be able to sign up to attend either or both events.  For more information head to http://www.gdcnext.com (GDC Next) or http://www.adconf.com (ADC).
