New E3 Gears of War footage is ... gone (update)

Now that this has been posted in the Dtoid clogs approximately five million thousand billion times, here is the Gears of War E3 trailer that Gamevideos let slip a little bit early. Hey, everyone confuses their July 6ths with their July 11ths -- it happens all the time. 
 
As the cloggers have pointed out, this is supposedly PC footage but the "A" button is readily apparent during the gameplay. Also, much of this is gameplay and content not found in the 360 version (yet), which means fans of Gears of War have plenty to look forward to this year. 
 
Special thanks to Electro Lemon for being an all around swell guy, and for using all my acne cream to color in his Thor pictures. Now Elisabeth Shue will never like me! Thanks alot!

[Update: In case you internet Matlocks were wondering, this video has been pulled from every possible site ever made in the history of the universe. If you missed it while it was up, maybe you should spend a little less time at Pornotube.]

it is for pc, you can see the "home" key on the video, which on games for windows live is the guide button. Sweet-nasty. haha Gears on Pc would be interesting...

i can't see that this wouldn't be dlc for the 360, that would be pretty fucking ridiculous. although i saw in the news today a 6 year old girl got her intestines sucked out by a pool drain dan lived, and i didn't see that coming, what do i know.

um? Here's a relevant point: YOu can use an Xbox 360 controller on Vista (USB or wireless), this is probably PC footage.

I'm hoping Epic will do what they've done with their other previous PC games: True multi-platform support, i.e. damn good Linux and Mac support. I got a MacBook Pro here that has power I'm just waiting to use, but I'm too cheap to buy lots of games. However, if I got the chance to get Gears of War on my Mac and Linux PC, I might just buy it. And no, I'm not shelling out $200+ for Windows XP or Vista, as the price tag on those OS's is just ridiculous for what you get (an OS and barely any real programs that do stuff? Great).

My money's on GoW 2. They were probably just making the footage on dev computers, which would show the computer things like the home key and achievements but leave in the obvious "Press A" parts.

Anyway, back on topic, I hope this shit is going to see the 360, because some of that is ace. You actually get to fight that big dinosaur Brumak fuck! I thought it strange that they showed it to us in the first game and we never got a sniff of actually playing against it.

I wanna be really excited about this, but I want to see this content confirmed for the console, too.

I have no doubt this will hit the 360, but by not having enough time to implement the Brumak in the original's gameplay, it sort of created something solid and worthwhile that gamers could anticipate in a sequel.

Obviously Gears of War 2 is a much bigger deal than this new trailer, so it looks like they'll be taking a rather large step into keeping GoW on the most-played charts for at least a few more months.

As sad as it is to say, they need something to keep them from getting knocked around too much by Halo, which is ironic because Gears was the title that finally knocked H2 from it's throne as the most-played game on XBL.

I'm sure us consoler's will see that gameplay at some point, even if the PC version has it first.. I never thought we would get the Brumak battle so soon though

I don't even know if I would want to play Gears on a keyboard.

If it is actually the PC ports of the game I think I will use the 360 gamepad for windows.
