New Duke Nukem Forever pictures show off some sweet ass photo

Okay, I'm starting to hate posting all of these Duke Nukem Forever leaks. I keep forgetting it may not actually come out anymore and the more assets I see, the sadder I get.

So yeah, a bunch of new assets were leaked online again today. The leaks may come to an end though, as all of the personal blogs that have been leaking the assets have been shut down or hidden. Sites like NoFrag and ShackNews managed to snag all of the images, thankfully. The images are made up of environment pieces and character models, which include a couple of strippers making the gallery below Not Safe For Work!

That's not all! Act now and you can get the Duke Nukem Forever design documents detailing the entire game and some of the boss fights! The documents were supposedly leaked by Huenink Rick, lead designer on DNF, according to Duke4.net. Do we need to say this is a spoiler alert even if the game may never come out?

[Thanks, jetsetlemming!]

The one and only reason I want this game to eventually be released from all this footage being 'leaked' recently, is to see all the stuck up prudes overreact to the nudity. It'd be some quality ranting from morons.

Irony of life is that it took the game to be canceled before we saw any of this stuff. =\

im wondering if they might sell some tech. or other studios hiring some of the 3drealms employees.

i mean they have to have created something new over that amount of time. some sorta fancy rendering thing. physics or AI engine. SOMETHING has to come out of this. it cant just end like that.

Somethings wrong with this picture, and no I'm not talking about the pictures included. A recent story was published about how they planned this huge complicated and long intended "forever" 'release. The story very well may be real, but some of it feels like a Hollywood movie. Plus the fact that they are now "leaking" out art, pictures, and a video that looks as if this was planned all along, of a apparently "dead" game. It certainly has a type of hype/viral feel to it. I don't know. I want to believe that the story is indeed true, and that the game will in fact be released... I guess we will find out someday. It certainly sounds crazy, but it could very well happen.

As much as I hate this kind of conspiracy theory bullcrap something's off here... What with all the leaks from 'ex employees' and now they've all been plugged up. I'm not suggesting that 3D realms HASN'T bitten the dust (though even that's possible) but something's definitely fishy.

It does smell fishy. Too much attention is drawn on too many leaks in too short a time. It seems like a viral campaign of a new kind, one that would definitly changed the general opinion about that game. Because think about it for a second:

We where all laughing our asses at the 12 years wait, saying this game would be crap, etc.. And if the game saw the light, with that kind of attitude, it could've been a flop, just because everyone wouldn't have given a shit about it.

But now? Now, in less than a week, the game is now considered the underdog, the one thing to save, the precious incredible game that will never be...or maybe it will.

I don't know, maybe I'm just imagining things...

If they released all this stuff in some sort of tactic to drum up hype for Duke Nukem Forever which may be released, they're being a dick for totally making people believe that the game was dead.

@Chronic Logic

Not really, seeing as how most of us believed it was dead ten years ago.

They are 'leaking' art because all of the jobless artists are now trying to get jobs, these are peoples CV's, not viral press releases.

and PS. Octobrains were utter, utter, utter bastards.

sick of it, sick of hearing about it, has run it's course on the hype machine 13 times!

I wouldn't buy this if it came with a blowjob! There's a line and duke crossed it a long time ago.

...and I still have faith that somehow this is going to be released. Considering Take-Two retains the publishing rights, maybe major players from the Dev Team will start their own studio to finish, that seems to be pretty popular these days. Nevertheless, I'm still betting on the Duke, regardless of how foolish that sounds. I'm used to disappointment these days.

I love that we're getting all these images and leaks now that the game is dead "for reals". Unless someone swoops in and saves the day, this is the perfect punchline to the joke that was this game's development.
