New Dtoid site feature violates Trademark! Help!

Last week Destructoid rolled out a new feature, as requested on our Uservoice forum, that allowed our editors to group clusters of stories together around a specific product (instead of using related tags or creating a tag for every unique item).  It does make it easier to track back stories this way. (thanks Gaurav!) I should have made a gripping video documentary about how we engineered this, but that would have just been pretentious. I did credit them on Twitter where Dtoid reader Isshak pondered the legality. Instead of reconciling it, I instead ate a half-a-dozen donut holes and flirted with the asian clerk to get freebies on my next visit. She's 80.

Anyhow, moments ago I received a very polite letter from Vox legal informing me that "StoryStream" is an owned trademark that we accidentally infringed on, as some people may rightfully confuse our dick jokes with theirs. As such, I've come up with five harmless alternatives. Please weigh in so we can set this pressing matter to rest by the full moon's arrival.

The nominees for our StoryStream replacement title are:

1. What What

2. StoryBordello

3. Massacreness

4. StoryStoryNight

5. Google  (similar to the mathematical term meaning hundreds of cheeses)

A close 6th contender, "Deluge of Pain" was downvoted by pigeons mating nearby. If no brilliant idea is presented I may just call it "Stories" because, you know, it's just a friggin' more accurate related stories box. Any cute ideas of your own?

Suggest one in the comments below, then immediately downvote yourself.

RE: Notice of Infringement by Destructoid.com

Dear Editor,

I am writing to you on behalf of Vox Media, Inc. (“Vox Media”). As you are probably aware, we are a media company that owns and operates over 300 websites, including the website www.polygon.com (“Polygon”), which provides coverage of the video gaming industry.

It has recently come to our attention that Destructoid.com has been using the term StoryStream in conjunction with regularly updated clusters of related content. One such example of where StoryStream is used on Destructoid.com can be seen in your coverage of the game Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13, found here: http://www.destructoid.com/review-tiger-woods-pga-tour-13-225078.phtml.

StoryStream is a registered trademark (Registration Number 4004065) owned by Vox Media (the “Mark”). Under the Lanham Act (15 U.S.C. § 1051, et. seq.) Vox Media has the right and responsibility to prevent trademark dilution resulting from the trademark infringement of our StoryStream Mark, and we believe Destructoid.com’s use of the Mark may falsely suggest affiliation with, endorsement, or sponsorship by Vox Media.

We have great respect for Destructoid.com and we believe that your use of our Mark must have been an oversight and not intended to infringe our rights. However, we do request that you discontinue your use of the infringing Mark and provide assurances that you will no longer use our Mark in or on any content and materials owned or operated by you.

We appreciate your prompt attention to our requests and look forward to hearing from you shortly. Thank you for your understanding our concerns as a fellow content creator/owner.

Sincerely,
