Atlus does not win with this. Or at least the fans of atlus dont. Atlus should learn that there lowest selling games are these lowest denomenator publishing deals that nobody cares about.

And you should know that games like Tropico does quite well in europe. While i realize its not a jrpg with heavy pedo vibes and repetitive gameplay. But games outside that genre can be very entertaining.

Gotta admit, when I saw "Atlus distribution deal" I was kinda hoping we could have Atlus games in Europe in a timely manner. That said, I hope people enjoy these games, the Tropico series is meant to be a corker.

Let me give you a history lesson. All of atlus's non rpg deals have been sales disasters. There move to publish 5 naruto games ( that werent even made by the awesome cyber connect), there casual mini game deals, ect
All have fallen through and not led to bigger things. While there third party rpg deals demon souls? were stellar. Rpgs are what we want to see from them
Next time, dont be insecure , and start insulting people who dont share the same view point as yours. I wont insult you because you think this deal is a good thing

Atlus is alot smaller than people think. Because of some of these "deals" they've had to contract quite a bit. They simply arent big enough to do multiregion games at once. Nis america quickly outgrew them and can help them, which is why they are handling persona 4 golden in europe

I just love it how in the mind of a troll not liking a publishing deal is equal to insulting the company. LOL. A company Ive supported immensely this gen with over 12 game purchases. But I guess in the mind of a fanboy you cant disagree with anything they do.
i'm REALLY excited about omerta. also port royale and tropico, but mostly for omerta. looks like just my cup of tea. more console strategy games please!
@PrinceHeir - Atlus is publishing and distributing. They are not developing or localizing these games. they do not affect SMT IV or Soul Hackers in any way.

1. Nothing bad can happen from these games coming out in the West.
2. Atlus is currently my favorite publisher. Why? Because they make money the right way: by bring games to the States that deserve to be brought to the States.
3. Atlus has the right to make whatever business decisions they want. They wouldn't sign a deal that would result in a giant loss for them. The are too smart for that.
