Ladies and gentlemen... GDC is coming to an end. I'm exhausted, braindead, and still making Charlie Sheen jokes in spite of the fact that I'm completely sick of them.

That being said, today's stories are as follows: Ubisoft blames the We Dare controversy on some European lady named Peggy, but that's okay because they're also having an INSANE sale on Steam this weekend. No, seriously. Four big games for thirteen bucks, go buy 'em, dummy. 

Next, we talk about Homefront's record-breaking amount of pre-orders and then Tara ruins my day by talking about those stupid, terrible Angry Birds. We also have a cool clip of us hanging out with Jeff Cannata from The Totally Rad Show. 

Finally, we do a completely ridiculous awards ceremony for things we saw at GDC.

A couple things: Squidbear shirts are in the works, I promise. Also, if you haven't seen -- Tara totally killed it on an episode of Machinima's Inside Gaming. I'm an ass, so I did an episode too. And I then shouted dumb things at Greg Miller's IGN Podcast Beyond (around 18:28), crashed 1UP's office party and vandalized their dry erase board, and today I appeared on Tekzilla, which'll be up soon.

I've never understood that phrase. Seems to be a mostly American thing. Surely killing something is bad? If you say someone murdered something that means they ruined it. Murder bad, killing good?

Games you can play while drinking? Brilliant innovation. The EyeTech's cool too, saw a bit of that (or at least something that worked in the same way, can't remember if it was the same company) last year at Eurogamer; not something I would use but mightily impressive regardless.

Also @Ace Flibble -- I'm not sure where "killed it" came from. Probably our violent surfer culture or something. I frequently just string words together, regardless of meaning, and use it to describe something being good. "It will blow your brain out the back of your ass" is something I say now and then. I don't even know what it means.
