Even though the game hasn't been out more than a few days, are you already tired of the Street Fighter IV roster? Producer Yoshinori Ono says adding more characters to the mix is entirely possible.
Ono-san told Famitsu that the development team wanted to add as many characters to the game as possible. He even went as far as to say they did all of the modeling and pre-texture work for characters like Dee Jay and T. Hawk.
"If uses make their voices known, this prep work is something we can revive at any time," he said.
Early last year when I asked Ono-san about significant DLC plans plans -- versus releasing something like a Super Street Fighter IV Turbo Alpha Mega Fighters Remix follow up -- he laughed, saying the team was seriously considering such additions. Capcom has already announced plans for paid DLC costumes; solid information on future DLC has yet to be revealed.
What characters would you like to see added to the Street Fighter IV roster? And if they were added, would you prefer they be released as part of a significant DLC patch? Or would you be fine with Capcom iterating and releasing new games based around this core for the next eight years?

I think it's pretty cool. when it comes to characters that are not just palette swaps well...the more the merrier
Others I'd welcome would be Cody, Maki, Poison and Roxy (a chance to kick futanari ass, unedited this time) from Final Fight.
Maybe Karin from Alpha 3 too, since she's pretty badass.
I don't think T Hawk is good at all. Why they include him I'll never know.
I want Dudley. Dudley is classy AND kick-assy.

I agree with you casual. If Capcom are smart, they let us have some free stuff and add more characters every few month. Either way, I'd pay for certain characters.
I guess I have to jump over to Capcom Unity and make some suugestions.

How well do you think the character designs in the street fighter series has stood up against the competition throughout the years?
Personally, I think there's a bit of a timeless quality to these designs, whereas in other fighting game series it can clearly be seen where a lot of characters have undergone changes to remain "hip"/ current.

They should have put every Capcom character on IV in the first place. EVERY CHARACTER!
T. Hawk needs some serious upgrades/changes to how he plays, and then he can join the party too.
also if they release every single character that's ever been in sf.. it would be the perfect compromise for all? lol.
