Destructoid is gaming news, community, videos, and sometimes love. Take the tour or jump in with Facebook:

While Bomberman Live still has the Destructoid crew gripped firmly in its meathooks, it's safe to say that Castle Crashers looks like the Next Big Thing on XBLA. In this video from Comic-Con, we get to see an entire boss battle play out and get a big taste of what to expect from the crack animators and developers at The Behemoth.

I want this game. I want it bad. "TBD" can't come fast enough.

Best part:

Fighting with your buddies for the girl.

Thgis game is going to rule so hard. Hurry up and finish it dammit!

I also, though it was funny how they had to fight each other for the girl at the end. Classic.

Damn I want this game bad. It's great how they had to collect the gold before their teamates got it and fighting over the princess is hilarious.

I remember playing this game last year at PAX and I was told it was coming to the arcade, I couldn't believe it because it looked so awesome(plus the arcade really sucked a year ago)

I dunno, I feel kinda 'eh' about this game. It looks and plays like a Flash game, I hope there's more to it than button mashing.

I played this game at PAX last year, and it was sooo fucking win.
With an extra year of dev time under their belts, this game is gonna dominate XBLA.

@Distrato

heaven forbid their roots are from newgrounds and they still have the NG logo at the begining of alien hominid hd or anything.

Is M$ bankrolling this game?

If not, I expect a Wii version by the end of '08.

Super Paper Mario selling over 1 mil in it's first 6 months of release proves that Wii owners accept 2D games.

360 owners? Not quite as much.

Haha, cool game. That will be the first thing I pull off of Live when I get a 360.

Flash games don't look like that. Nor do they play like that, either -- play the flash version of Alien Hominid, then get your hands on the console versions or Alien Hominid HD. The art style is the only thing Flash-esque about it, and that's definitely part of the appeal.

Distrato, you're an enemy of fun. Go play some of the 4-player Konami arcade brawlers with friends and get back to us.

@Pedro: yeah, except after you save April O'Neal in TMNT, you don't have a free-for-all over who gets to keep her.

Pangloss:

Actually at the end of the level where you have to fight Bebop and Rocksteady together, once you defeat them the person with the most points gets a kiss from April O'Neal.
