We know that you have waited patiently and finally your reward is here. At 9:30 A.M. EST. the new Call of Duty 4 maps, Chinatown, Killhouse, Broadcast, and Creek will be available exclusively, (even though only a few weeks ahead of the PS3 maps) on Xbox Live for download at 800 MS points (10 bucks). I know that you have been reading that they are delayed, but it just is not true. Today is 100% the day that you will be able to download them. Some of you have already had a chance to preview the maps at the GOTY events in San Jose, and in New York City. Those of you that didn't should check out the gallery below or the new videos on Gametrailers. I do have some info that I have yet to hear anyone discuss. If you liked the Carentan back in the day on COD2 then you will love its new form as Chinatown on COD4. Another inside tip is that you won't be getting only 4 new maps but a chance at some new XP in game. Sorry, no new achievement points though. Well. Since they mentioned 1.3 million people play the game on LIVE everyday... maybe a couple. You know a few. ;)
Sadly these don't interest me that much. Don't get me wrong, I love me some CoD4 (I'm so close to my 3rd golden gun it hurts) but I recently got swept up in Mass Effect AND RSV2. I'll wait to buy these 'til those wear thin and I need something fresh to get me back into something.

Its 4 maps, not 3. Also, most of them are huge, so if you like that sort of thing, definitely worth it.

@311grassr00ts It means XP, just like the game has already but more. Not double. Just more stuff. Not perks. Not guns. But XP. Rumor is you can spend it on a lesbian video that you unlock only by running backwards throughout the entire game.

I quickly downloaded the maps before work and played one game. It was awesome! New map, Broadcast, was a blast! +20 per kill, not sure why but I'll take it. Almost was late to work but it was worth it. My kids were saying, "come on dad, take us to school" but I wanted to finish the map. Crazy kids, what is up with their priorities!

This weekend is double XP. I was told that wasnt it but then just got a press release saying "double XP this weekend" but it didn't specify PC or 360. The PR was for the GOTY edition.

You think that they will actually release these maps for PC?
COD 4 is over 50% pirated because instead of using steam like every successful PC game, they just used the amazing Punkbuster. Getting online with the pirated copy is easier than putting a little dog in a Christmas tree.

XBL is kind of fucked up right now. Probably because of the Marketplace and COD4 servers getting wrecked.
It kept giving me the error too, I just kept mashing the A button until it finally went through.
