When Bomberman is around, you can bet your sweet ass things are going to get bombed.

Such will be the case when Hudson's Bomberman Blast, the upcoming digital download multiplayer blast-a-thon, comes to WiiWare. Eight-player online play, Mii support, leaderboards ... what more can you ask for? Waggle, of course! And Bomberman Blast delivers, with there new "shake-it-up" items that are activated by -- get this -- shaking the Wii remote.

No word on when Bomberman Blast will hit WiiWare, but here are two hints: whenever the hell Nintendo feels like putting it up on the service, and it's going to be on a Monday.

Anyone thinking about picking this up for the right price? And what exactly would the right price for Bomberman Blast be?

I think I might be interested in this. Cause you will be able to play up to EIGHT players offline and you can play the game without being connected to the internet which works to.

It will probably be $15, I wouldn't want to spend more than $10.

I played this at PAX. It's worth buying if you own a Wii, even if you have Bomberman Live. Those two games are entirely different beasts.

@wilbo:

I'm sorry I can't hear you over all of this loud Rock Band 2 happening over here.

Bomberman online is awesome, but anything more than $10 will leave me with cold feet.

Makes me wish there was a bustling PC bomberman community.

@ s0lesurviv0r,

I used to have a 10 player online PC game called Atomic Bomberman, I doubt anybody is playing it anymore... but it was good back in the day.

What? You americans don't have this yet? Yeah I love that we get to do that gloat so often with WiiWare.

Also, its 1,000 points. Me, Conan, Dan and Wilbo all have it and it is awesome. Also review in my c-blog here.
