As the new content continues to roll out for EA's free-to-play Battlefield Heroes, it just keeps getting weirder and weirder. The sci-fi elements are getting thicker in the game's run-up to what seems to be a big space race and robots have joined the equation. Along with the new units comes a new CTF stage, Buccaneer Bay.
I'll admit to having some level of curiosity about Battlefield Heroes but I'm a little bit afraid that I'll actually like it and get sucked in. The endless encouragement to earn the opportunity to have a really exciting game in the future is such a dangerous and enticing carrot. Am I missing out? Maybe. But I know I'm a lot more productive if I just stay far, far away.
