The new Army of Two: The 40th Day DLC has been released early... on the Xbox 360. PlayStation 3 owners still have to wait until April 1 to get the new content. The original plan made it sound like the "Chapters of Deceit" DLC would be released on both consoles at the same time, but Electronic Arts dropped the new content today on the Xbox 360 with no real announcement besides this new trailer.
"Chapters of Deceit" brings with it two new cooperative campaign maps, and gives more story to the main game. The DLC is going for 800 MS Points/$9.99.
Anyone here that still even owns The 40th Day interested in the "Chapters of Deceit"?

Fuck that...Im not paying for stuff that should've been in there to begin with, thats crap...The story was weaker than the first one.
They should've just made the game exactly like the first one, except set it in different places.
Loved the first AoT....this one just sucked.

I loved the first Army of Two as well. The story and characters were nonsense, but the game was quite fun playing co-op. Planning on buying the sequel when it comes down in price. I'm assuming they didn't completely fuck up the gameplay from the original here though.
No idea why people are hating on the game though, it plays a heck of a lot better than the first game. But the controls are way smoother and you can actually switch fucking shoulders this time! The only real downsides are how easy it is to kill all the enemies and how they changed Salem and Rios's relationship from retarded fratboy bros, which is what made the first game hilarious and awesome, to uncomfortably homoerotic life partners that honestly gets a little creepy sometimes.
