New ads for Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 make me want to buy my dog a cloak photo

Visions of a lucrative pet cosplay business aside, I still can’t deduce if I think these rabbid creatures are as adorable as a baby tiger or as scary as a baby tiger when it eats your face off for getting too close. Hmmm … to be safe, I will just call them awesome.

I was a big fan of the original Rayman Raving Rabbids (especially the Wii version), but, I have to admit, these new promos for the upcoming Wii-exclusive sequel might end up being more fun than playing the game itself.

Seriously, I can only dream of what an actual Assassin’s Creed game starring bunnies would be like. Chances are Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 will include just a simple mini-game with only a passing reference to the above imaginary lagomorph masterpiece, but I want to play the real thing, Ubisoft! Don’t tease!

Regardless, the ads are pretty hilarious. Check the game’s official site for the rest of the funny videogame and film parodies (Bunnysteel and X-Rabbids are my other easy favorites). No worries, I’ll wait (just make sure you come back or Niero will kill me).

See what I mean? Awesome.

[Thanks, Adam]

lol great marketing. Although it just makes me excited about assassins creed, and not about raving rabbits.

But now we realize how amazing Assassins creed would have been IF it did have bunnies. Which is pretty fuckin awesome

Chad, I want to buy your dog a cloak anyway. That things chocolate starfish is astronomical. Tell it to chew its food from now or something, man... seriously.

Now this is what I'm talking about.

Assassin's Creed with out bunnies = History Class Yawns

Assassin's Creed with bunnies = Evil Muppet Show.

I'm sold.

I wonder, will they make a minigame themed after all the ubisoft games? What about Splinter Cell and all that? This may be one of a series of crazy cookey ads.

@brainderailment: they did Splinter Cell and Far Cry in part 1 :)

they had a far cry type map for the shooter game, and lots of sam fisher-like bunnies running around and climbing down ropes.

I would pay $39.99 plus tax for that Bunniez game. Any game that would allow me to pet and raise my own Rabbid would be frickin' awesome.
