At some point in January, 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand will be on retail shelves. In our most recent coverage of the title we were shown a basic glimpse of the storyline and gameplay. This trailer (accessible after the break for those over 18) expands what is known about the title by debuting the “Counter-Kill,” a term coined by the game’s publisher THQ.
The Counter-Kill appears to be a counter that kills enemies. It is the direct opposite of the “Counter-Tickle,” which may or may not be in Blood on the Sand.
One comes away with an impression of the game’s brutality when viewing the video. Counter-Kills are fast and brutal. The flow of the move (minus the weird comic book thing) is a lot like the hand-to-hand stuff in the Bourne movies, except 50 doesn’t need rolled-up magazines to dispose of his future victims. He only needs a knee or a particularly sharp knife.

fitty is doing a concert for an army base in an unnamed middle-eastern country, when the base is attacked and overrun by terrorists, one of the terrorists recognizes fitty and convinces the others to take him hostage, asking a pretty penny for his safe return. after regaining conciseness in a crude enemy base camp, you soon find out that two weeks have passed with no ransom-money paid, realizing nobody is coming to save him, fitty decides to take things into his own hands. after subduing a guard and taking his weapon, fitty escapes the camp, and starts his voyage back to American soil.

Oh um.. actually maybe not. I think i'd rather play minesweeper.
But on the matter at hand. 50cbots is going to be a mixed bag. As long as they fix the bs that completely fucked the other game then they might stand a chance. The counter kills in the first game were awesome, too bad getting them to work was impossible. I think that's why the game let you view them so you could get a chance to see them played out instead of getting pissed off because he keeps doing the same generic three over and over again. Slim Shady and Dr. Dre better be in this one as well.
