NeverDead has a new trailer for your amusement, and at the very least, it looks completely insane. As to whether it'll be a good game ... well, that's another thing entirely.
It certainly looks a little rough around the edges, but I'm a pretty forgiving guy and can keep an open mind about flaws provided the game itself is fun. That's something we won't know until the launches, but I've got my fingers crossed. A new IP with a totally barmy concept deserves a cheerleader.
Also, one of the bad guys is a big fat guy, so you can say it looks like me. Of course, now I've called attention to it, someone will counter with, "It's not fat enough to look like you." See, I'm wise to your ways, Internet commenters.

Meet the rest of the team
Spend less money on CGI cutscenes; give the voice acting guys a budget to pay for someone other than the receptionist and sales department to get on the microphone.
Watching this trailer made me yearn for the 8-bit and 16-bit cutscene days.
Wow, that's an insane video! I Loved it! I hope the game turns out good.
Oh, on a side note: I haven't been watching much videos here on dtoid, but the video player quality has apparently improved significantly. The age check still needs working though: I just typed 0-0-0 and it accepted.
Wow. Yeah, I'll be playing this though I'll wait for reviews and see if it's worth getting sooner or later on.
I think people are way too critical of games these days and the voice work wasn't that bad. In fact, I would say the voice work and the cutscenes were the standouts. It's the gameplay that has me concerned though seeing a guy crawling away from a monster with one arm had me way more intrigued than it perhaps should.
I don't see what's with the hate for this game, it doesn't look that bad. The voice acting could be better, the trailer is badly put together (but it's JUST a trailer), the game lacks color, they tried too hard to make the demons nasty, and the gameplay is a typical TPS (BUT WITH REMOVABLE LIMBS).
Oh who the hell am I kidding, I can see this game getting a 5/10 from a mile away. It COULD be good though, it could be.
Why did they pick an asthmatic 16 year old boy to be the voice of Bryce Boltzmann? That voice sissified crawling around on the ground with no legs and only one arm. :\

He gave gears 3 an 8! (sarcasm, for gods little special buddies)

Here's a screen of what I see.
GOD DAMN IT JIM, GET YOUR TUBBY ASS ON A FUCKING TREADMILL.

Also voice acting wasn't bad at all, just the sound control.
Picked out Michele Ruff as soon as I heard her, and she's rather high end.
I think it has the making of the next big konami cult classic
