The character modeling is well done, if a bit unsettling. I'm just wondering why they chose to use screen caps taken in broad daylight. It seems to be a horror game, and as a matter atmosphere you'd figure that a low visibility setting would be more appropriate. That is unless the model designers weren't using these caps to show detail highlighting of their work, which is cool, and their work is good, but I'd like to see something with more cohesive aesthetic statement.

The action horror genre is serious business. Suda51 wouldn't share Shadows of the Damned caps that didn't emphasize the game's tone. I'm guessing either these guys are different, or I misjudged the game.

Horror game? You're joking, right? The main protagonist can get dismembered, roll his decapitated head to his limbs and torso and rebuild himself. On the videos I've seen of this game the character and his female companion are wisecracking all the time.

This isn't a horror game, it's a gory silly shooter. And I like it.

falsenipple: Daytime can often be more unsettling than night. It's a pretty common trope that determined that, since we feel safer in the light, things killing you during the day are even scarier. I kind of agree with it. Zombie movies set in broad daylight can be creepier than night ones.

Not that I think they're really going for "horror" here, more "OH MY GOD IS THAT AN ANUS? LET'S SHOOT IT!"

never heard of this till now and it looks awesome, and watching the trailer makes it look even better. but just read a little info, and yes, you cant technically die yourrself, but if that bitch dies, then your game is over or something.

I'd care about this game more if it didn't sound so much like Knight's Contract. The concept is more interesting than it definitely though, hopefully it turns out to be a good game.
