NeverDead available January 31, so have some screens photo

Konami has announced the release date for NeverDead, the weird-as-balls action game starring an immortal demon hunter whose body takes procedural damage until he's a mess of scattered limbs. The title will be available from January 31, 2012.

I love January, because that's when all the interesting games go to hide from Call of Duty. You get a nice mix of games at the start of the year, with varying degrees of quality and levels of uniqueness. Whether this particular game will be on the higher end of those scales remains to be seen. It looks rough, but it's definitely got some charm.

Anyway, check out the new screens and see what you think.

I like the way this game looks but something about not dying makes me feel it'll be another Prince of Persia 2008, which was good in the gameplay department but was lacking probably because there was no challenge.

I know its no where like it, but the idea of the guy falling to peices reminds me of Arther's armor falling off when he's hit in Ghouls and Ghosts (or any of the other same game-different name titles he's in).

So to me it sounds fun.

i hope its better than knight's contract. the gameplay was mostly good but there were some really bad design choices that sucked the fun out of it pretty quickly.

The gameplay video I saw a while back gave me hope. It certainly looked rough, but more importantly it looked fun.

Might actually pick this up, have a feeling it'll end up being a flawed gem.

I've been following this one for a while now, and I have to say I'm excited. Hope it's good.

It does look like it has the quirkiness of something Suda51 would have created, but I have the strange feeling it will be as playable as "The Cursed Crusade."

The Megadeth track on it got me interested, but the game itself looks to be pretty good and unique!
