Nothing says you're a serious game journalist like a Pac-man business card holder. Wait, I take that back. Walking around with a sealed mint version of Chrono Trigger around your chest (that you somehow also have sex with) is probably better. While the latter is a rare find reserved only for the elitist hardcore, ten bucks puts one of these beauties on your desk (your choice of Pac-Man or NES pad). The designer LostMitten notes:
This is made out of Perler Beads, fused together, and then glued together with sturdy contact cement. It measures 5" by 3", and measures 1" across, so it will hold lots of your cards. Also can be useful to hold important information or scraps of paper that you might have lying around.
She's also got some killer Earthbound stuff in her shop. Perler Beads seem to be really popular amongst the crafty Etsy folk, as each easily represents a pixel and are easy to find in the classic palette. I recently picked up a set of coasters of The Light Warriors made of this stuff and it was actually quite durable, to my surprise. If I wasn't so clumsy I'd have a new hobby.
