Like I said if Nintendo gets off it's ass and starts offering game titles from the Nes, SNES, GBA and everything else Inbetween. They'd have a huge feature to use as a selling point for the 3DS
I only wish the upgrade version will come in 3D, the old sprites with the 3D touch looks so amazing.
Give me North and South with online multiplayer and I'll forget all about these past 5 months, Nintendo.
Imagine if they updated the original NES Legend of Zelda to be Two Swords Adventures with this multiplayer anouncement. Or even Kirby's Adventure where player 2 can play simultaneously as Prince Fluff or Meta Knight.

I'm confused , are these NES games going to be 3d upgrades like Excitebike. I haven't seen any mention if they were or not.
Is anyone else stoked for these free games? I grew up with Nintendo first and foremost before I became acquainted with Sony, Microsoft, and SEGA platforms - I'm really excited to re-live some of these games on the go, legally.
If anyone gets the chance, can they ask what the odds are for folk who bought NES games in the Wii Virtual Console to transfer them to the 3DS?

I'm all in a rage, but the thought of having NES and GBA games is exciting to me none the less. Being able to multiplayer them will be fun too.. There has to be at least one good reason we've got 2 in the house (/sigh)

I like this. It's awesome imo. In fact I bought a new 3ds this morning. Had a $100 gift card for target and got a $ 25 one for buying the system. Rocking mercs 3d and doa, with a side of Madden. Hitting up the eShop for cave story, super mario and excitebike. Can't wait for all the free games now. Mmmm Mario 3, Zelda and metroid fusion. Plus my vita is payed off with $136 on the side for some games, from my first 3ds trade in.
I'm just hoping the unannounced games are ones I don't already have, I already own most of those games they mentioned would be coming.
I don't care if I bought these games before, they are still great games. Also, free. Thank you, Nintendo. I'm proud to be a Nintendo Ambassador. Gawd, I'm such a damn nerd. ;)
