If a slew of ESRB listings is any indication, we might soon be seeing a bunch of NeoGeo titles hitting the PlayStation Network.
Alpha Mission II, Baseball Stars Professional, League Bowling, and Super Sidekicks were all recently rated as invidual PlayStation 3 and PSP games. While this would usually indicate PSOne releases on PSN, Siliconera points out that some of these titles were never released on the original PlayStation.
If I were to be choosing NeoGeo games to play on my PS3 and PSP, I'm not sure any of the above titles would be my first, second, or third choices. What would yours be?

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
The one game drip method Nintendo has resorted to has pretty much made me stop paying to attention to Virtual Console. I got tired of checking each week for the off chance something good is available, and I hardly think I'm the only one.
*sits whimperingly in a corner*
bring me Magician Lord, Blazing Star, & Waku Waku, however, and i'd be all over that.
i've wanted to play Magician Lord for like 20 yrs now. still hard to believe those damn games were $200 each back then.
Playable on the PS3 too, not just the PSP.
The sequel however- you can mark my words right now- "Baseball Stars 2", is the absolute greatest arcade baseball game of all time. I paid for the SNK Classics Collection solely to play this game. I had a Gametap subscription solely to play the game.
You put that on PSN, and I'm instantly buying it, without any doubt.
You know what would be funny? If they brought Neo-Geo games to PSN, and they were largely less expensive than the ones on Virtual Console. Maybe then will Nintendo get the picture and LOWER ITS GODDAMN PRICES.
Metal Slug Anthology (MS 1-6)
KOF Collection: The Orochi Saga (KOF '94-'98)
SNK Arcade Classics Vol. 1 (Magician Lord, King of the Monsters, and other classic SNK arcade games are in there)
If anyone here is still interested in PS2 games, and/or has a BC PS3, then you have your wish.
...What?
Fatal Fury
King of Fighters
Samurai Shodown
Shock Troopers
Waku Waku 7
Galaxy Fight
Ninja Masters
Too many good ones...
And a bad head on SNK's direction for wanting to sell those relatively uninteresting games...
