Need for Speed World enters into closed beta

Mar 16 // Brad Nicholson

EA's Need for Speed MMO, Need for Speed World, needs some PC drivers. The title has entered into closed beta, meaning you could get in on the action before all the other nerds this summer. All you'll need is a pair of hands, a PC, a bit of luck, a need for speed, and an Internet browser. Hit the game's official Web site for sign-up and to jump through some contractual hoops if you meet the criteria.

We've seen the MMO, which appears to be something of a social amalgam of famous locations and races in the two billion NFS titles over the years, twice over the last few days. Our latest look at the title will net a preview that should hit at some point tomorrow. Vroom, vroom.
