A huge day for Need for Speed: Most Wanted

In addition to today's release of the Terminal Velocity expansion pack for Need for Speed: Most Wanted, two new themed car packs are also available: Need for Speed Heroes and Need for Speed Movie Legends.

The Heroes pack goes retro, bringing back five cars from past games: the Lamborghini Diablo SV from Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit; the Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) from Need for Speed: Underground; the Nissan 350Z from Need for Speed: Underground 2; the Porsche 911 GT2 from Need for Speed: Undercover and the BMW M3 GTR from the original Need for Speed: Most Wanted. Heroes also comes with "eight new races and speed runs, 25 new liveries, 136 new multiplayer milestones and more."

Movie Legends features five iconic cars from various films, including the Dodge Charger R/T 1970 from The Fast and the Furious and the Shelby GT500 1967 from Gone in 60 Seconds. The Aston Martin DBS 2008, Aston Martin DB5 and Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am Special Edition 1977 are also included, along with "eight new single player sprint events, 136 new multiplayer milestones, 50 new license plates and more."

Need for Speed Heroes and Need for Speed Movie Legends are available for 800 Microsoft Points, or $9.99 each. A Deluxe DLC Bundle is also on offer, which includes both car packs along with the Terminal Velocity expansion for 2000 MS Points, or $24.99.
